Axis Bank, one of India’s leading private sector banks, has partnered with Antara Senior Care—a wholly owned subsidiary of Max India Limited and the country’s only integrated senior care ecosystem—to enhance the quality of life and well-being of India’s elderly population.
Through this collaboration, Antara will provide its full range of offerings, including Care Homes, Care at Home, and AGEasy—a unique online and offline platform delivering solutions for chronic health condition management. These services will now be accessible to over 2 million customers enrolled in Axis Bank’s Silver Linings Program, an initiative crafted specifically for individuals aged 60 and above.
The Silver Linings Program offers specialized banking solutions along with a curated set of benefits that support the wellness, lifestyle, and travel needs of senior citizens. This partnership further extends the program’s impact by enabling access to dignified, personalized, and high-quality care solutions through Antara’s comprehensive ecosystem.
Antara’s vision focuses on enriching the lives of seniors by combining lifecare and lifestyle offerings, helping them age with comfort and joy. The collaboration is timely, given India’s evolving demographics—according to a 2024 JLL-ASLI report, the senior population is expected to more than double from approximately 150 million to 350 million by 2050. This growth is driven by increasing longevity, changes in family structures, and a growing demand for active aging and holistic wellness solutions.
Commenting on the partnership, Munish Sharda, Executive Director at Axis Bank, said:
“We are pleased to partner with Antara Senior Care, as both organizations share a commitment to enhancing the experience of our senior citizens. This collaboration allows us to go beyond banking, offering our customers care and support that truly matters in their golden years. Our aim is to deliver a holistic experience that blends financial confidence with trusted, accessible senior care.”
Rajit Mehta, MD & CEO of Antara Senior Care, added:
“We commend Axis Bank for its thoughtful approach to senior care through the Silver Linings Program. Our shared goal is to deliver comprehensive and meaningful solutions that promote the well-being of India’s senior community.”
Ishaan Khanna, CEO of Antara Assisted Care Services, remarked:
“At Antara, we are deeply committed to serving seniors with dignity and dependability. Through the Silver Linings Program, we’re creating new opportunities for seniors to access high-quality care when they need it most, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.”
This partnership represents a pioneering approach in India’s senior care space by combining robust financial services with a trusted, holistic care ecosystem tailored to the evolving needs of the elderly.
