Power Mech Projects Limited has announced that it has received a significant order from Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited (BSPGCL) for the development of grid-connected distributed solar power plants across multiple locations in Bihar. The projects are aimed at solarizing agricultural and mixed-load feeders at various power substations under the PM-KUSUM Component C2 Scheme, implemented through the RESCO model.
The total cumulative capacity of the solar installations will be 13.66 MW (AC), and the project is expected to generate approximately Rs 159 crore in revenue over a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) period with Bihar DISCOMs (NBPDCL/SBPDCL).
The scope of work includes complete engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services such as design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar power plants. It also covers operation and maintenance of the systems along with the necessary transmission infrastructure.
This project highlights Power Mech's expanding role in India’s renewable energy sector and its continued commitment to sustainable infrastructure development.
