Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has announced that it will pass on the complete benefit of the government’s GST 2.0 reforms to its customers starting September 22, 2025. The company said the move will enhance affordability and accessibility, particularly in rural and semi-urban regions where two-wheelers are vital for personal mobility, livelihoods, and social empowerment.
CEO Vikram Kasbekar welcomed the GST reforms, calling them a significant boost for consumption, GDP growth, and India’s path to a $5 trillion economy. “More than half of Indian households rely on two-wheelers for their daily needs. The timing of this reform, just before the festive season, makes mass mobility more affordable and provides a strong demand push. By passing on the full GST benefit, Hero MotoCorp reaffirms its commitment to enabling mobility, empowering families, and supporting the vision of Make in India,” he said.
With this initiative, customers can now avail price reductions of up to Rs 15,743 on select motorcycles and scooters (ex-showroom Delhi). Popular models such as the Splendor+, Glamour, Xtreme series, and scooters including the Xoom, Destini, and Pleasure+ are among those to see price benefits.
The company advised customers to confirm model-wise benefits at Hero Premia dealerships across India.
