Indian benchmark equity indices opened in positive territory on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.
Except for the healthcare sector, all NSE sectoral indices were trading higher, with the Nifty Metal index leading the gains.
Meanwhile, Asia-Pacific markets advanced on Tuesday as investors reacted to China’s latest loan prime rate announcement and awaited the Reserve Bank of Australia’s interest rate decision.
At 9:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 82104.3 up by 44.88 points or by 0.05 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24960 up by 14.55 points or by 0.06 %.
